THE COPYRIGHT SOCIETY (COSOTA) MEETS ARTIST
A good discusion between artists and officials of the Copyright Society (COSOTA) took place today in the Copyright offices at the Investment Building in Dar es Salaam. COSOTA came up with a list of activities that it has planned to execute but needed the backing of members for a successful implementation.
1. Anti piracy campaign
2. Copyright Awareness Campaign
3. Implementation of the royalty payment from Broadcasters.
The members gave a number of useful suggestions and it was agreed that more of such meetings should be held to clear the smoky area that had been created between artists and the Society
