Kilimanjaro Premium Lager and the National Arts Council today signed an agreement whereby Kilimanjaro would continue holding the Kili Music Awards for the next five years. This will cost Kilimanjaro Premium Lager 4 Billion shillings for preparations of the Awards for the period. This also marked the launch of Kili Music Awards 2013,which will be held on 8th June 2013 at Mlimani City. According to the Kilimanjaro Premium Lager, Brand Manager George Kavishe, "Those who follow up music awards in Tanzania and other African countries, will agree that the Tanzanian awards are only superseded by Kora Music,
MTV na Channel O awards.”
